LOUISE Dominy and her team at Segensworth bodyshop specialists Banburys are celebrating again after Jaguar Land Rover named it as its best body and paint centre for 2008/09 – its second successive victory in the prestigious national awards.

During a ceremony in Birmingham, Jaguar Land Rover – itself just crowned best in the manufacturer bodyshop honours – presented a number of awards which recognise the best paint centre and bodyshops from its 112 Centres of Excellence. Louise Dominy, managing director at Banburys, collected the accolade on behalf of her colleagues.

The Fareham site, which is an approved prestige body repair centre for Jaguar Land Rover, was recognised for its consistency in delivering against the award criteria which included certificate printing, branded car provision and customer satisfaction. It also took the crown in 2006/07.

Rob Harris, Jaguar Land Rover’s business development manager, said: “I would like to congratulate Banburys on its outstanding accomplishment. It achieved very high standards in terms of the level of service to customers and the quality of repairs.”

Louise Dominy said: “We’ve always prided ourselves on our professionalism and offering a first class customer experience, so to be recognised again in this way is a real achievement.” Jaguar Land Rover has also been awarded Vehicle Manufacturer of the Year at the 13th Annual Industry Awards, hosted by Bodyshop Magazine, which was held the same week and recognises excellence in dealer bodyshops and repair centres.

It triumphed over strong competition from other manufacturers to scoop the accolade. Judging criteria included training, network development and customer satisfaction.
